Richard Wolf GmbH was founded in 1947 by Annemarie and Richard Wolf in Knittlingen. Today, Wolf looks back on over 60 years of company history and many key-contributions to the refinement of medical endoscopy.

Technical progress in fine mechanics and micro-mechanics, in precision optics and in electronics has opened up possibilities in this area of medical technology that were inconceivable when the company was founded. Wolf is a globally operating medical company that provides products for endoscopic diagnosis and therapy in the field of human and veterinarian medicine, ESWL and ESWT and industry.

At Wolf, outstanding product ideas and innovative concepts provide the basis for endoscopy systems with state of the art functionality and quality. A highly qualified and well equipped R&D department ensures our high reputation in this field.

Wolf works closely with highly sophisticated and experienced doctors in many Universities around the world to develop ever better instruments - in a constant effort to make endoscopy diagnosis and therapy less and less invasive and more effective.
