Since its launch in 2005, DuBiotech has more than 75 companies which are registered and operated within its premises. With the delivery of the Nucleotide Complex in 2009 and the Pre-built Warehouses in 2010, DuBiotech is attracting many Multinationals as well as SMEs to use Dubai as the base for their Middle East operations. Bristol-Myers Squibb
“Bristol-Myers Squibb is a global bio-pharma company focusing on discovering, developing and delivering innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases," Karl Lintel, regional vice president and general manager, Bristol-Myers Squibb, said. "Around the world, BMS medicines help millions of people in their fight against cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hepatitis B, HIV/AIDS, rheumatoid arthritis and psychiatric disorders. The newly created offices at DuBiotech will help us better serve customers and patients in the Middle East and African regions."

Food and cosmetic (flavours and fragrance)

Firmenich
Firmenich SA, the world’s largest privately-owned fragrance and flavour developer, set up its regional office at DuBiotech in Feb 2010.  Firmenich is utilizing the Nucleotide Complex to create new fragrances and flavors that cater to clients in the region. 

Medical Equipment

MAQUET Middle East
MAQUET, based in Rastatt, Germany, is a global market leader in medical systems focused on the Operating Room (OR) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Maquet started to operate in its Middle East office in the Nucleotide Complex since the end of 2009. "MAQUET's success in the Middle East has translated into our decision to have a state of the art training facility at the DuBiotech laboratory complex. Our facility will house virtual operating room systems and intensive care units”, said Salah Malek, Managing Director, Maquet ME.

Diagnostic and analytical testing services

The National Reference Lab (NRL)
The National Reference Lab is a Mubadala Healthcare initiative created in partnership with Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings (LabCorp), one of the world’s largest and most experienced clinical laboratory companies. The first phase of the laboratory was opened in the Nucleotide Complex in Oct 2010. The 12,000-square-foot laboratory based in the Nucleotide Complex will provide reference laboratory services to public and private hospitals and clinics across the UAE and the near by regions.
